Mark Selby

Mark is an interaction and product designer, and a PhD student at Nottingham University's Mixed Reality Lab and the Horizon Research Institute.

Mark works with the Superflux Lab on our own product invention and development. He is also a co-founder of the IBI, an interdisciplinary research collective working across science, art and technology. 

Having trained in product design and studied for an MA in Design - Critical Practice at Goldsmiths, his practice-based research focuses on the ways that emergent technologies mediate our individual and collective experiences.

In addition to maintaining his own creative practice, he has worked with a number of artists, design studios and research labs in a variety of roles  from hand-making bespoke products to creating interactive installations and prototypes for projects such as Microsoft Research's Technology Heirlooms initiative.
